Felice Kirsh is a partner with Schnurr Kirsh Oelbaum Tator LLP and has been practicing in estate litigation for more than 30 years.  Felice has years of experience obtaining successful results for her clients by applying a practical and pragmatic approach to the complex issues involved in estate litigation.  Clients appreciate how Felice advocates intensely for their interests and also provides them with support throughout the high-stress situations that come with litigation.

Felice transfers her many years of experience, and her straightforward and effective approach, to her mediation practice.  Felice conducts mediations throughout Ontario where she uses her assertive mediating style to work with parties and their lawyers to come to proactive solutions to difficult estate issues.

After graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1984, Felice was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1986.  She is a Certified Specialist in the area of Estates and Trusts Law and has been recognized by her peers as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada every year since 2008 in the specialty area of Estates and Trusts.  She is also consistently named as a Lexpert Ranked lawyer.

Felice is a highly sought after speaker and has chaired programs for the Law Society of Upper Canada, as well as written and presented papers for many professional and educational organizations, including Osgoode Hall School of Continuing Legal Education and the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners Canada.  Felice has written and presented on a wide variety of topics, including limitation periods in will challenges, claims against the estate by spouses under the Family Law Act, and special considerations for attorneys for property.  Felice is also a regular contributor to Advocate Daily, an online resource for lawyers.  You can find her articles and videos here and here.

Felice is actively involved in the community.  For several years she volunteered her time at Trails Youth Initiatives, where she served on the Board of Directors.  Trails is an organization that equips vulnerable youth with the tools and skills to become contributing members of their communities.

Felice enjoys travelling, and particularly hiking and exploring small European towns.
