Mitchell Rattner is an associate with Schnurr Kirsh Oelbaum Tator LLP, and practices exclusively in the areas of estates, trusts, and capacity litigation. Mitchell takes a pragmatic approach in advocating for his clients, and works to achieve the best possible results efficiently and economically, whether that involves litigation in court, or negotiation out of court.

Mitchell’s practice also involves working as preferred counsel for LawPRO on matters of professional negligence with respect to estate and trust issues. Mitchell is a contributing author to the text Estate Litigation, and has written several papers in the area of estate and guardianship litigation. Mitchell has spoken at professional engagements, community information sessions, and has guest lectured at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Mitchell graduated with a B.A. (distinction) from Queen’s University in 2011, and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2015.

Mitchell enjoys reading, playing piano, and travelling, and in particular, exploring the British countryside.
