Sender Tator is a Partner at Schnurr Kirsh Oelbaum Tator LLP and has practiced in Estates, Trusts and Guardianship Litigation for more than 20 years.  Sender was drawn to the area of estates because of the personal aspect it brings to the practice of law.

Sender’s assertive litigation style successfully results in practical solutions that fit his clients’ needs, while keeping in mind the complex family histories often at play in Estate and Guardianship matters.  Sender is pragmatic, efficient and personable, and applies these traits to achieve the results that his clients are looking for at the bargaining table and in the Courtroom.

Sender graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1997 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1999.  Sender’s dynamic personality and success in the courtroom has led him to chair programs for the Ontario Bar Association, and he has written and presented papers for many professional and educational organizations, including the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Bar Association.  Sender is a regular contributor to the authoritative texts, Estate Litigation and The Annotated Ontario Estates Statutes.

In 2010, Sender was awarded the Hoffstein Book Prize Award, recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements by Members of the Ontario Bar Association in the area of Wills, Trusts and Estates, and he has been consistently recognized by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada since 2015 in the specialty area of Estates and Trusts. 

Sender is married with two kids and enjoys nothing more than seeking adventures with them on vacation.
